Common questions
FAQ
How do I find mechanic work in Cape Town?
Register on this page — it takes 2 minutes. We match you to clients looking for your specific skill in your area across the Western Cape, from Blouberg to Stellenbosch. No cold-calling, no marketing spend on your part — we handle all of that.
Do I need to be a formally registered mechanic to join?
No formal trade certification is required to register, but you must have real hands-on experience and be able to do the work to a good standard. We vet every partner informally before sending clients to them. We work with self-employed mechanics, freelance panel beaters, independent auto electricians, and mobile tyre fitters.
Can panel beaters and auto electricians apply?
Yes — in fact, panel beaters and auto electricians are currently our most-needed specialties. If you do dents, scratches, bumper repairs, or auto-electrical work (lights, alternators, central locking, wiring, battery drains), we want you in the network.
Is there a fee to join the network?
No. Registering is completely free. We do not charge a joining fee, a monthly subscription, or take a percentage of your labour rate. You quote the job, do the work, and collect payment directly from the client.
What areas in the Western Cape do you cover?
We cover the full Western Cape — Blouberg, Table View, Parklands, Milnerton, Century City, Bellville, Durbanville, Parow, Goodwood, Cape Town CBD, Sea Point, Claremont, Rondebosch, Hout Bay, Muizenberg, Fish Hoek, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, Strand, and Paarl. We especially need partners in the northern and southern suburbs who are not already covered.
Can I keep working for my other clients?
Absolutely. There is no exclusivity requirement. You stay independent and keep all your existing clients. We just add another stream of referrals when jobs in your area come up.
